Summer School

The Castelletto Summer School is our summer center located in the same area as the European School of Trieste. It is open to all children, both those who attend the school during the year and external children whose parents want to provide them with a stimulating experience in English language immersion.

We offer recreational, artistic, and sports activities in full immersion with both native and non-native speakers teachers.
Children naturally immerse themselves in the language through everyday situations, social interactions, and a wide range of diverse and enriching activities. Our approach fosters a playful and spontaneous learning environment, where language acquisition happens naturally.

The Summer School welcomes children aged 3 to 10, divided into age-appropriate groups:

Cubs: 3 to 6 years old
Explorers: 7 to10 years old

Our Summer Camp runs from the second half of June, right after the school year ends, through the end of August;
Please note that we will be closed on Ferragosto (August 15th);
The weeks in June are specifically designed for primary school children;
Enrollment for the sessions is open.

Physical environment and activities

Gardens, spacious terraces, playground, soccer field, and pools are available for our young guests to enjoy outdoor activities and promote the psychomotor development of the little ones.

Sport: football, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis.

For “Explorers”: upon request, we provide courses introducing martial arts with a qualified instructor.

In the comfortable and well-lit indoor spaces, children are welcomed into air-conditioned classrooms equipped with a gym, music room, library, and video library. They have access to a wide range of games, a small theater, as well as materials for hands-on activities and encouraging creativity.

Our “Music project”, which offers a playful approach to the world of notes and rhythms, is led by Maestro Carlo Marchi.

Upon request, our young guests are assisted with their holiday homework.

Our canteen: lunches and snacks are prepared by our chefs in the on-site kitchen and served in spacious dining halls. We also accommodate requests for personalized diets.
