The classrooms at the European School of Trieste are spacious and well-lit, providing ample room for the number of students in each class. Located in a prime position at the top of Colle di Scorcola, with stunning views of the city of Trieste, the EST campus boasts extensive green areas and fully equipped spaces for recreational and sports activities. The learning environments are thoughtfully designed to foster active teacher engagement, allowing them to move freely among the students’ desks and address any issues or behaviours that may arise.

The music room
The music laboratory in question is conceived and offered within a lower secondary school that recognizes music as a powerful educational, didactic, and artistic tool.
The classroom is equipped with various musical instruments such as pianos and percussion instruments.
The gym
“To be together,” “To be well together” is one of the educational goals of the school, and this happens in the dining hall, especially when a communal meal is enjoyed following a menu designed by nutritionists, in accordance with dietary guidelines. All the food is prepared internally on the premises.

The headquarters is Villa Geiringer, a nineteenth-century castle located at the top of Colle di Scorcola overlooking the city of Trieste. Within the premises, there are extensive green outdoor spaces and modern facilities.
The equipped areas are essential for fulfilling one of the fundamental rights of children: the right to play and leisure time. Not only does it concern the opportunity to live in a healthy environment, but it also refers to the right to engage in one of the most important activities for growth and development, play, with full freedom and according to their preferences.
