The European School of Trieste is located in lush greenery and far enough away from the city to provide its students with ample space to study and relax.
Our sections
The sections are spacious, bright, and welcoming, equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning.
Each section is organized to provide children with suitable spaces for educational activities, such as coloring, manipulation, listening and reading, imaginative and structured play, physical activity, music, and afternoon rest.
In this way, the school offers a learning environment that ensures the child’s socio-emotional development and well-being.
At our preschool, children are provided with a menu developed in accordance with the guidelines for healthy and balanced nutrition set by the Nutrition Institute in collaboration with the Local Health Authority.
Meals are prepared in our on-site kitchen.
Nursery children have their lunch within their own section, while Kinder 1 and Kinder 2 children have their meals in the preschool canteen.

The hill
The location is Villa Geiringer, a 19th-century castle situated atop of the Colle di Scorcola, overlooking the Gulf of Trieste. Within the premises, there are vast green outdoor spaces and modern facilities.
Equipped areas are essential to ensure children have moments of play and fun, experiencing a healthy environment surrounded by nature.
